Great service and beautiful plants! Michaels team was very willing to do whatever I requested with no issues. Love my yard and get many compliments from my neighbors!! Give Michael and his team a try for your landscaping needs!!

No stars at all. This company said they put in a French drain, after several times calling and Michael denying the problem I hired another company. He put in a cheap drainage system that went up hill. My basement flooded, I had black mold. Then I discovered the drainage system had concrete poured into it ? My new company said it was intentionally done. Run away from this company as fast as you can. Michael puts plants in that die and he never holds responsibility. He also always smelled of alcohol.

We had this company landscape our entire backyard a few years back. What a bad decision. There were major design issues, for example he planted 6 forsythia bushes in an area that couldn't handle their growth - they make a great hedge but not so much in a garden bed. So many areas were over crowded with plants. He was just making sure he got as much money from us as he could on the plants. The azaleas he planted don't bloom consistently because the hole wasn't dug deep enough. Some of the plants arrived at the site dead. Michael did NOT communicate well and we actually had to track him down at his home/nursery to get an issue resolved. Don't walk, run away from this business. I wish someone had told me not to do business with Sunburst Nursery & Landscape.

I asked for a landscape design. He provided a hand drawn piece of copier paper in pencil instead of a document that a professional landscape architect normally provides. He instructed his staff to dig one shovel of clay per plant caused the plants to die in less than 1 month. He should have know or at least advised that the ground needed to be tilled and amended.

Like the other two reviews, sloppy and nothing. He charges for larger plants, but delivers smaller sizes. Plants look tired (azaleas past bloom). Laborers dig holes just large enough for plants, do not amend soil or break up root ball. I had to supervise work and follow behind replanting everything properly once I discovered what they were doing. Michael Stober, the owner, rarely shows up. They broke sprinkler heads, buried things under mulch, put in a dry creek bed that looks like a driveway. He recommends sun plants for shade and vice versa. Run, don't walk, away from this company.
